Squirt came to visit Uncle Lou, Bubba and Grammy for the weekend and we had a great time! Here are some photos of things we did... Playing at the mall - what a pose! At the water park in Fremont...What a girl...she went underwater lots! Underwater again!    BRRRR....the water is cold Squirt and Bubba! Squirt tried to climb her way across, but got stuck part way through. I tried to go out and help her, but the lifeguard wouldn't let me... :-( Maybe next year she'll be tall enough to make it down the yellow slide. Went to Aksarben Village to see the Confidentials play...we had quite the sleepy one on our hands... But that sleepiness soon went away...as she found a friend to play with. The daughter of some friends of A. Bubba and U. Lou. Playing on the jungle gym! Riding the fire engine with Ernie and Bert. Grammy's car got a flat tire on the interstate. Squirt realized she had to go potty and was pointing one out that was down...

Wow...what a weekend. Thankfully I only had to work Sunday, so I was able to enjoy Saturday with my husband! We recieved tickets to the Defenders of Freedom Air Show at Offutt Air Force Base Saturday. This was my first airshow and I had a blast. I can't believe what the men and women can do with those airplanes. Do a complete verticle 3 miles into the air and then repete comeing down...OMG!!! Maybe next year Lou and I will stay all day and wait for the Blue Angels. After a brief nap at home we met up with Rob and Jen for dinner and the Loggins and Messina concert at Harrah's! Sadly the only song I knew was their last song "Your Mama Don't Dance," but I did find a new song I enjoyed (well several, but one in particular)..."House at Pooh Corner."

Last night was so much fun!!! Mom and I have a 6-year tradition of supporting the KAT Country CanFest for the Omaha Food Bank. This year yet again lived up to the past performances! The table of ladies next to us, kept us laughing so hard our stomachs were hurting by the end of the night. This year the performers included: Chad Lee, Jeremy McComb, Josh Gracin, Jake Owen, and Eric Church! Below are some pictures. I asked one of the gals at the table next to us -- the crazy fun table -- to send me some of her pictures since they were coming out so much better than mine of the 5 guys on stage! I'll post those pix as soon as I have them! Over the years, mom and I have seen the following people at KAT Can Fest: Craig Morgan, Joe Diffie, Billy Dean (x2), Jimmy Wayne, Mark Chesnutt, Collin Raye, Catherine Britt, Blue County, Ty Herndon, Sarah Buxton, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Rhett Akins, Carolina Rain, Lee Brice, Hal Ketchum, Chad Lee, Jeremy McComb, Josh Gracin, Jake Owen, and Eric Church !...

JEFF DUNHAM Let's see...last Thursday (11/8/07), I took Lou out for a surprise date. About a month or so ago, I won tickets to see Jeff Dunham (the comedian). He had no idea what we were doing or anything until about an hour before the show. I'm so glad I was able to pull off the surprise. I know he just loved it and had a fabulous time...actually we both did. Outside of Carlos Mencia two weeks prior, I don't think we've laughed so hard! If you've never had a chance to see this guy in person or on Comedy Central...check him out. He's a ventriloquist and has several characters...Walter - a grumpy old man, Achmed - the dead terrorist, Melvin - the crazy red-neck, Peanut - not really sure what Peanut is..., and Jose Jalapeno - the Jalapeno on a stick! GARTH BROOKS Holy cow...What a concert. That's really about all I can say. The show was phenomenal. Mom and I left Omaha around 4:00pm Monday after work and arrived at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO...

YUP, you read that right...I just won tickets to go see Garth Brooks in concert!!! OMG, I still can't believe it. Mom and I are going to KC on Monday after work to see Garth!!! Be ready...Tuesday I'll post some pictures. OH MAN...this is wonderful! I can't wait!!!

Wow...This past week went by so quickly! Tuesday night, Mom and I made a trip to Blair, NE, to support a family friend and priest who's brother died the Friday before. It was very sad, but nice to see how many people from the Blair community came to support this man at the Wake/Rosary. Then on Wednesday, Mom and I went to CanFest 2007! CanFest is a pro-bono concert that The Kat (a local country radio station) has held for the past 5 years! I don't think Mom and I have missed a show yet! The concert raises money and canned food for the Omaha Food Bank. The artists we saw this year included: Lee Brice, Carolina Rain, & Hal Ketchum. Lee Brice - Carolina Rain - Hal Ketchum Friday came...Lou & I went and had game night with some friends and had a wonderful time! When I finally got home, mom, Addison and Olivia were there waiting for me. Actually, Addison and Olivia were asleep...but you know they were dreaming about their favorite Aunt Bubba!!!!
