Random Thoughts
Ever since last week I haven't been able to get Virginia Tech off my mind. What would have happened if that were Hastings College?! Sadly when I heard about the shootings at VT, my first thought was back to a student at HC that committed suicide my freshman or sophomore year. Unfortunately it was found that he could have committed such acts at our school. Wow...that's just so scary. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the students, faculty, and family members of the Virginia Tech community. This past weekend was so nice. My sister will be celbrating a milestone birthday next month and since I'll be in Sweden at the time, my brother-in-law had a surprise party for my sister! It was so wonderful! She was so surprised. I'm glad I was able to be a part of that. I wouldn't have wanted to miss it.
