Alright...I started this post two days ago, but have been VERY busy at work and can't seem to finish. Let's see if I can get this done now... Good-Bye Birch Ave... :-( April 27, 2010: Wow...I can't believe that today is my last "real" day owning the house I built over in Spring Hill. The new buyer closes and takes posession tomorrow. L and I had our final walk through with the new house yesterday afternoon. Everything looks good, they got the basement issues taken care of and the sump pit/pump moved to a better more out of the way location!!! After the walk through, mom and I went over to the old house to say one last final good-bye. It's really sad and happy and sad and exciting all at the same time. This was my first house. 99% of what was done to this house, I DID!! And now I'm leaving it. I know this is a good thing, as it means L and I can move on with OUR life as a couple and start the next chapter of our life. But I'm still really sad. ...

Okay so I just realized I didn't leave a post to my husband on our anniversary saying "Happy Anniversary"...Though, I'm sure he only looks at this blog when he turns on our computer at home...Oh well. Can you believe it's been two years already?! So hard to believe. Some people have asked me how we spend our anniversary and what special things did we do to celebrate...well here it goes: We packed! We are moving at the end of this month and need to finish up packing the house...so there ya go, isn't it romantic?!

Well...almost. We put in an offer on a new home (see pictures below) over the weekend and on Saturday afternoon we reached an agreement with the sellers!!! If all goes well with the home inspection we will close on this house April 29th. The house is in the Bent Creek neighborhood - still in Omaha, still in the Millard School District! It's SOLD! We recieved two offers, turned the first one down...actually we asked for an extra 24 hours to consider his offer since the day we were to have our response back we had four families touring the house! He didn't like the fact that we asked for 24 hours and didn't give us that, so we said "no thank you". The second person, gave us an offer, we really weren't crazy about it, but decided to counter her original offer, we did this back and forth some, we finally gave her our best and final offer, she came back with something else and we said no. We thought that was it with this person, well a few days later, she came back, said she'd take our final offer, but wanted the washer and dryer...OK! At last we finally came to an agreement everyone could live with! The home inspection has already happened, they found a few small things, we've decided to make the corrections the buyer is asking for and those should b...
