BIG NEWS

Image
Hey everyone! I have some wonderful big news to share with you all... Lou proposed to me Sunday evening! Yes...of course I said yes!!!! We haven't set a date as of yet...we actually haven't even really talked much about details. I have the Cox Classic this week/weekend and then he and I will sit down next week to really discuss plans and details! Stay posted for more information in the coming months!!! Below is a picture of the "temporary" ring. Once I have the ring he ordered I'll post a picture of that as well. Now for those of you that want the details...here's how he did it... Sunday night was the pairings party for the Monday Pro-Am with the golf tournament. Lou and I were going to attend and see what we could find in the auctions and just have a nice evening out. We got to the golf course a little early and Lou commented on wanting to walk around a little to see what new things have been added this year (this is Lou's second year NOT with the tour...

Sweden Pictures

Check out the link to the left...I've updated my Shutterfly Account with "some" pictures from Sweden. This will be a work in progress as I am still receiving some photos from team members and I'm also trying to update the titles and descriptions of each photo. I hope you enjoy!

Mastectomy Bill in Congress

I got this from a gal at work...I checked online to be sure this really is a current bill, and it is. Please read the following important Information on a mastectomy bill going before congress in September. From a nurse: I'll never forget the look in my patients eyes when I had to tell them they had to go home with the drains, new exercises and no breast. I remember begging the Doctors to keep these women in the hospital longer, only to hear that they would, but their hands were tied by the insurance companies. So there I sat with my patient giving them the instructions they needed to take care of themselves, knowing full well they didn't grasp half of what I was saying, because the glazed, hopeless, frightened look spoke louder than the quiet 'Thank you' they muttered. A mastectomy is when a woman's breast is removed in order to remove cancerous breast cells/tissue. If you know anyone who has had a mastectomy, you may know that there is a lot of discomfort and pain...

Finally...House Pictures!

Well, I finally got around to taking some pictures of the work mom, Lou and I accomplished! I hope you enjoy! Not too much to report at this time...The golf tournament will be starting in just over 1 week! I can't believe it's that time already. I'll try to get some pictures while I'm out on course and post them here so all can see what I do while I'm "working". Here is the front of the house...we put the wall and ring around the tree and also put in the landscaping below the window on the front! Eventually, we are going to make it to the back yard...I've already started to kill the grass under the porch. It's such a pain to cut and we've decided it would be easier to just put the black tarp down and then put rock on top. This way no mowing under the porch! ... And my WELCOME sign.

Vacation - Days 4, 5, & 6

Friday -- I'm not really sure what all Grammy and the girls did on Friday! I think they just stayed home and played. Looks like they played in the house, went for a walk, played at the park, and made popsicles! Tonight, after I got home from work and both girls woke from their naps, we went to a friends house for a BBQ and the Memorial Park concert and fireworks. We all had a great time at Rob & Jen's house. Addison made some new friends with the girls that live next door...she even got a tattoo! Check out her ankle! Grammy and Olivia left before the fireworks since it was Livi's bed time, while Addison and I stayed around to listen to the music and watch the fireworks. Unfortunately we didn't last long one the fireworks started. I think a combination of being sleepy and the loud booms really scared our little girl! Lou, Addison and I took off out of the park pretty quickly. But Addison still said she had a good time, except for the fireworks..."the...
