Not much new...

Sorry I haven't written for a while...There just hasn't been much going on recently to write about! Last night (Monday Feb. 18th) I had a surprise party for Lou. He's hitting a "landmark" birthday tomorrow (Feb. 20) and I wanted to do something nice for him. I contacted as many of his friends that I could and we had a nice gathering at the Brazen Head Irish Pub in Omaha. Unfortunately I was so worried about pulling the whole event off that I forgot to take pictures...Thank you to everyone who made it out! I know Lou really enjoyed himself and was completely surprised...Now he's threatening me about my next "big" birthday. We'll see what he can come up with!

Wedding plans are coming along nicely. I don't know of anything MAJOR that we have outstanding. Just a lot of "little" things. Invitations are going out today or tomorrow...my attendants are planning a shower for Lou & I, and we just have to schedule our follow-up appointments with the various vendors - most everyone wanted to meet again about 2-3 weeks out from the wedding to finalize contracts and make sure we are all on the same page! Hard to belive the wedding is so close...I remember when we first started planning and it seemed so far away...now we are less than 2 months out!

40x40 Bucket List Update

Holy cow, we are in 2021. Who would have thought. I started this list in 2015 around my 34th birthday. I thought it would be fun to review and see how far I made it on the list. My 40th will be here in a few months! Looking down the list - I didn't do very well. Maybe I'll bring this list into my 40's and try to complete more of it by the time I turn 50!  Adventure | Travel ✔       Experience the Disney Flower Festival ...
